Karen J. Dabney is Founder and CEO of DreamStreet Theatre Company, a 501c3 Nonprofit organization. Karen is a Communications Professional and Entrepreneur, Playwright and Author across multiple genres.

A Public Speaker and Professional trainer, Karen, who made her own acting debut at the Beverly Arts Center in Chicago now combines her thriving creativity, her years of professional experience and her notable background in mentoring teenagers in healthy Self-Esteem development to create meaningful programs at DreamStreet Theatre Company, Inspiring, Empowering and Showcasing emerging talent.

Karen holds a Master of Arts degree in Communications, a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Marketing and Management. She currently resides in Naperville, IL with her family.
